Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing Airbnb stay. We did not feel the home reflected the quality or cleanliness we expect when booking an Airbnb, and we would not choose to stay here again. The bathroom door doesn’t lock, the lights in one of the rooms flicker, the blinds in the living room don’t function properly, the front screen door is missing the door knob, the faucet in master bath is in need of repair, and the curtain rod is falling off the wall in one of the rooms. The carpet and rugs are stained and need a thorough cleaning, and the backyard is dirty and uninviting, with stained outdoor furniture, broken storage sheds, and an over lack of upkeep. The air conditioning vents cannot be adjusted and blow directly onto your face while sleeping, making it very uncomfortable. None of these issues are major renovations, they’re basic maintenance items that should be expected in a rental. It created the impression that the property is not properly being cared for.
